Week 2 underway...

We had a great time in the pool today.  We were practicing blowing bubbles, front floats and floating on our backs.  It is sooooo nice to be in the pool in the afternoons.  A big thanks to our caretaker Michelle for taking such great care of our school pool.  

Remember to bring your togs tomorrow:)  

Reading bags went home tonight...no need to panic.  There is a book inside for reading and a word wall to practice reading words.  Only Miss Ryan and myself are allowed to colour in the words but you can help them practice the words if you want to. 

Parent evening is on Thursday.  It is a chance for you to come in and tell us all the great things that we don't yet know about your child.  We only need 5 minutes of your time, please make the appointment online or come in and see us for a time slot.

This is Buddy Bear.  He visited Arieana's house over the weekend and he has gone home with Makahae tonight.  He comes with his travel diary and is looking for ways to become part of our community.  If you can give him any tips when he comes to your house please let him know.

Lika is away with chicken pox after 3 days at school.  Just keep an eye on any suspicious looking spots.  If I see anything I will let you know straight away.

Chicken pox results in a characteristic skin rash that forms small, itchy blisters, which eventually scab over. It usually starts on the chest, back, and face then spreads to the rest of the body. Other symptoms may include fever, feeling tired, and headaches.
