Term 4 begins...

Howdy,
Welcome to Week 1 of which will be a crazy term.  There are a lot of things happening this term so keep your eyes and ears posted.
I hope you all had a fantastic break, I certainly made the most of the golf friendly weather:)

Here is what is happening this week...

REMEMBER TO WEAR SUMMER UNIFORMS - INCLUDING HATS.Hats are compulsory in term 4. PLEASE MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS NAMED! It makes it so much easier to locate the correct owner.

WE HAVE SWIMMING - EVERYDAY THIS WEEK.
Bring your togs, towel and a bag to put your gear in everyday this week for swimming. We swim in the afternoons 1:30-2:30 in two groups. PLEASE MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS NAMED! It makes it so much easier to locate the correct owner.

HOLIDAY READING LOGS. Start bringing these into school so you can be added to the holiday prize draw. Mr Macmillan has some neat prizes to give away. Remember the class that returns the most reading logs gets to have a pizza lunch!

ROSARY - Wednesday 8:45 in the hall. October is the month of the Rosary - it is to honor Mary. The Rosary is a Catholic prayer based upon the Bible that focuses on the events in the life of Jesus and that of Mary the Mother of Jesus. Each Wednesday for the next three weeks we will be celebrating a different mystery as we pray the Rosary together. The seniors are presenting the Rosary this week, the middles in week 2 and the juniors in week 3. Parents and family are welcome to attend to pray with us.

RE BOOKS & PORTFOLIOS. Please bring both these back this week. Remember to complete the family/whanau page in the RE book and the 2 stars and a wish page in the portfolios. JELLY BEANS FOR THOSE THAT COME BACK THIS WEEK!!!

PHOTOS
Here are some photos that Miss Ryan found on the i-pad from the last couple of days of Term 3.
Happy days:)

It was great to see Mylene at our shared lunch. The children were most relieved to see Mylene smiling after her unfortunate accident two days before. I hope your recovery has gone well over the holidays Mylene - you can tell us all about it tomorrow.

There are a few other things happening later in the term.  We are planning a Big Day Out to Boyes Beach.  There will be an Athletics Day and a school Triathlon.  When dates are confirmed we will let you know so that you can organise time off work if you want to help out or come along to watch.
See you all tomorrow, don't forget your togs!

  1. Hello!
Wow a busy term ahead. Quick question - Do you have a spare reading log for us to fill in? I have just written them on a piece of paper? Or is there an online option please? Thanks.
